My two big passion are cosplay and dance hip-hop, my crew name is Warriorz. Q: How old are you?I’m 25 years old. Q: What attracts you to cosplay?A lot of things !!! I really love the performance part on stage, when you can present your creation and make live your character !! For me the most important thing in cosplay is to make fun, new friends, get out of life reality during few days ! :) Q: What do you do outside of cosplay?I don’t have so many free time because I have a lot of passions like hip-hop dance (5/7 day training) but I really love going in others country discover different culture and people. All my free time is for my friends, for make some party, restaurant, cinema ^^ Q: When did you start cosplaying and how long?I started cosplay about 4 years ago now. Cosplay takes a lot of my time, for my last cosplay that’s more than 500 hours of work I think ^^ Q: Have you entered a cosplay competition before? Have you won prizes before?ECG was my first foreign competition. In switzerland I won 3 x times a first price of our biggest cosplay competition (Polymanga) in 2010, 2011, 2012. Q: Was this your first con if not how many conventions have you attended before? That was not my first con and I can say exactly how many convention I have attended before but ~ 20 con approx I think ^^ Q: What made you want to attempt this costume?I’m a big fan of the first Tron in 1980. Rinzler is the dark side of Tron, I love his agility and his skillz in fight. For me he’s the most charismatic guy of tron, the boss create by the “user” for protect the grid. Q: How much time and money did the costume cost to make?In brut material, resin, neoprene, led etc, I think more than 1’500 USD, I Take 1 year for create this cosplay, and work on him more than 500 hours ^^ Q: Did you have help, or did you construct it all by yourself? It was all by myself and a great friend of me help me for some part in sewing because my sewmachine can’t pierce the neoprene Fabric. it was to hard the sew the chest >_< Q: What was your first thought when they announced you had won the selections?I was very happy for all my friends they support me at each con, and very proud to be the representative of my country :) Q: What advice would you give to cosplayers who want to make this cosplay?Take a lot of patience, don’t rush the step, and always trust in your skillz. A lot of time “I spleen a part” and I become crazy :) but the day after, I am recovered to work again. Every error make us learn and become better. Q: What advice would you give to cosplayers about presenting yourself on stage in a contest?Always put itself in the place of the public and wonder if our performance shall please us. Be original, don’t try to do same perf of a well popular cosplayer, Have your own style, give dream to the audience :) Q: have you in the past entered other big compo’s like WCS?Nope, it’s my first time in a big compo like ECG ^_^ Q: Do you have an account with the website Cosplay.com/other social networking sites? My Fanpage Cosplay Facebook : www.Facebook.com/ |
